Foodie Fun At Home
Since more and more people in the UK are staying at home because of Coronavirus I thought I’d put together a post filled with tips and tricks on how to have foodie fun at home! I work from home as a cake maker already so I have foodie fun at home pretty much every day. This post includes a few recipes with minimal ingredients (because no one wants to brave the empty shelves at supermarkets right now) and if you want to binge watch some foodie tv shows check out my earlier post with my favourite things to watch right now.
my banana bread is very adaptable. You can change the flour and the sweetener to whatever you’ve got in. It’s a great way to use up left over ripe bananas!
If you do a lot of baking like me then you’re bound to have left over bits of dried fruit, nuts and seeds in your cupboard. These are a great way to use these up and it doesn’t matter what kind of fruit or nut you use!
Only two ingredients – chocolate and peanut butter. If you’re a peanut butter lover you will absolutely love these, the only hard thing is waiting for the chocolate to set!
Marmite is another one of my favourite foods. You can make this with ready made pastry or use the recipe to make your own.
This is another one that you can make with shop bought pastry if you happen to have any in your freezer although it is easy to make with minimal ingredients too. They are very moreish. I have warned you.
These are a great breakfast or dessert and the best thing about them is you can top them with whatever you’ve got in the house. Try fruit, chocolate spread, peanut butter, syrup etc.
