Halloween Food Ideas

To be perfectly honest with you, I don’t like halloween. This year you’ll find me in the kitchen diner at the back of the house hiding. I can’t help it, I’m antisocial and I don’t like scary things.
Food is something I can easily participate in though so I’ve put together a few recipes incase you’re not a miserable bugger like me at Halloween.
We’ll start with a super easy one. You just need marshmallows and icing pens for this one. Literally draw a spooky face on a marshmallow and voila! This also a great one for kids to do – it’s creative, easy and not too messy.
A couple of years ago I made eyeball cake pops which look pretty creepy. With a chocolate and cake crumb centre and covered in white chocolate they’re actually much more delicious than they look! Find the recipe here – you could even adapt them to make pumpkins by colouring the white chocolate orange and using a black icing pen to draw on the features.
I’m not really sure if Toffee apples are more for Halloween or bonfire night but I LOVE them so I’m putting them in this list (other people love it when I have one too because they shut me up for a fair while). I made these last year.
