I recently won some Mallowgroove marshmallows as part of Mallowgroove’s Twitter giveaway. I was so excited because I never win anything and what could be a better prize than marshmallows?! Which were my favourite flavours and how do they compare to other brands of marshmallows?
There are so many flavours to choose from including candy floss, gingerbread, chocolate orange and honey & almond. I got a bag of salted caramel and another bag of rhubarb and custard. With 6 quite big pieces in each bag I was nice and shared with Billy. The flavours tasted exactly what they were supposed to taste like if not better (Billy doesn’t like rhubarb and custard but he loved these!) As well as the great flavours, the marshmallows were really soft and almost melt in the mouth! You could really tell the quality and that they were handmade compared to the bags of marshmallows you get in the supermarket.
Not only are Mallowgroove marshmallows a great treat for yourself but they’d make really nice gifts as well! I’d like to thank them for picking me as the winner in their competition. You can order the marshmallows as well as coconut ice and fudge (they also do wedding favours which is a brilliant idea!) on their website. They have also won the Theo Papthitis Small Business Saturday award.
Please note that marshmallows are not suitable for vegetarians (sorry for everyone reading this after I became vegan). I would love to see a company making lots of vegan marshmallow flavours. If you know of one let me know!
