Three ingredient caramel popcorn.
3 tbsp Unsalted Butter
3 tbsp Golden Syrup
100g Popcorn Kernels
I LOVE making popcorn. It’s a great quick snack or dessert to make and tastes great! You can get lots of different flavours nowadays, from salty and cinema sweet to coconut vanilla and Worcester sauce. My favourite flavour to make is caramel. I used a tablespoon to measure the butter and syrup because it makes the process really quick and the measurements don’t have to be exact.
Melt the butter and golden syrup together in a pan. Remove from the heat once combined.
Put the popcorn kernels in a microwavable bowl and cover with a plate. Put in the microwave for about 5 minutes. Remove from the microwave when there's 3 seconds between 'pops'. I always move the popped corn into a new bowl so you don't get all the unpopped kernels at the bottom.
