I know I always say ‘this is such an easy recipe’ but honestly, this one is a really easy recipe. It’s basically custard cream crumbs in melted marshmallow made into yummy custard cream bars and they’re really sweet and chewy. You can melt the marshmallows in the microwave very quickly. There’s no hanging around waiting for the oven to preheat in this recipe.

I’ll definitely be trying these again and I reckon they’d be great made with Oreos or even those flavoured custard creams you see (I’m a big fan of the coconut creams!)

Step 1
Mark as Complete

Turn the custard creams into crumbs why whizzing them in a food processor or if you want to do it the fun, harder way put them in a sandwich bag a smash them with a rolling pin and put aside.

Step 2
Mark as Complete

Put the marshmallows and butter in a microwavable bowl and melt in the microwave for 1 minute. Mix the custard cream crumbs into the melted marshmallow. Once combined, add the cherries.

Step 3
Mark as Complete

Pour the mix into a baking tin lined with clingfilm making sure you spread it to the edges and corners of the tin. Once the mixture has cooled, melt the white chocolate in the microwave at 30 second intervals. Drizzle over the set marshmallow, add the sprinkles and slice.
