
Malted Milk Brownies

225g Dark Chocolate

225g Unsalted Butter

3 Eggs

225g Caster Sugar

70g Self Raising Flour

1/2 tsp Salt

4 tbsp Malted Drink Powder

200g Malted Milk Biscuits
Directions
Who doesn’t love brownies? These Malted Milk brownies not only have crushed Malted Milk biscuits inside AND on top, they also have malted drink powder in the mix. Enjoy with a cup of tea or a glass of milk.
Preheat the oven to 170ºc and line a brownie tin (22x29cm) with baking parchment. Melt 225g of chocolate with the butter. You can do this in the microwave in 10 second bursts.
Beat the eggs and sugar together until pale and thick. Add the melted chocolate and butter mixture to the eggs and stir until thoroughly combined.
Fold in the flour, salt, and vanilla extract. Crush 150g of Malted Milk biscuits, stir through the brownie mix and and pour into the prepared in. Top with the remaining Malted Milk biscuits and bake for 25-30 minutes depending on how gooey you like your brownie. Allow to cool and cut into 9 or 12 pieces.

This is an amazing idea. Malted Milk are one of my all time favourite biscuits! I have a great brownie recipe I could use too.
I think it’s a brilliant idea to add the malted milk biscuits to the top of the brownies. These must taste really good.
These look really unusual – in a really, really good way! I’d eat them with a latte.
