Melt in the Middle Chocolate Orange Puddings
Chocolate orange desserts with a melting middle
Ingredients
- 100g Dark Chocolate
- 25g Unsalted Butter
- 25g Light Brown Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 15g Plain Flour
- Zest of One Orange
- 2 tbsp Orange Juice
Directions
I made these chocolate orange puddings the other day and they were delicious! The recipe makes two so it’s great for a quick pudding for two people or you can multiply it to make however many you want. It’s not difficult to make, you just mix it all together, pop it in the oven and bake for less than 10 minutes so it really is quick. It’s important you keep an eye on them in the oven or else they might not melt in the middle.

Preheat the oven to 180ºc and butter two ramekins (approx 150ml). Melt the chocolate in the microwave in short bursts. Add the flour, butter, egg and sugar and mix well until there are no lumps. Add the orange zest and juice and mix again.
Pour into the greased ramekins or moulds and bake for 9 minutes. If it’s still very runny wait until the top is just set.
