Peanut Butter Chocolate Pie
Oreo crust with a creamy peanut butter filling
- 22 Oreos
- 3 tbsp Melted Unsalted Butter
- 180g Cream Cheese
- 300ml Double Cream
- 270g Smooth Peanut Butter
Peanut butter and chocolate are my two favourite foods so I knew I was onto a winner to begin with. But what makes this Peanut Butter Chocolate Pie even better is that the crust is made from Oreos! It’s really quick to make and you just have to chill it for a few hours and it’s ready. This recipe was inspired by the pies in Waitress the musical and a recipe by the Pioneer Woman but I have changed some of the quantities (and converted them to grams) and also substituted the ingredients for ones you can easily find in the UK. What is Cool Whip anyway?!
Whip the cream so that it holds it's shape. Mix in the cream cheese and then the peanut butter. Pour onto the cooled Oreo base and spread. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
