The Best Foodie Things To Watch Right Now
A lot of us are staying home at the moment so I thought I’d put together a list of the best foodie things to watch right now. These are all available in the UK for free in places such as BBC iPlayer and YouTube.
The Best Foodie TV Shows To Binge
The Great British Bake Off
If you don’t fancy baking yourself or don’t have the ingredients then why not watch other people bake. Watch the whole of the latest season on All 4 now.
Corner Shop Cook Off
I have never heard of this before so I’m glad I came across it while searching for ideas for this post. The idea is that two chefs go head to head to make a meal out of food bought only from a corner shop. If you’ve been unable to get your usual shopping from the supermarkets this might give you a few meal ideas! Also I love a Scottish accent so I’ll definitely be watching all of these! Watch on BBC iPlayer.
Living on the Veg
A vegan cooking show that I didn’t even know existed! You can watch episodes 6-10 on itv player now. I’m gutted I missed the first five episodes but I am looking forward to learning some classic recipes with a vegan twist!
Back in Time For The Corner Shop
If you haven’t been watching this every week you should definitely catch up on the first three episodes. I love all of the ‘Back in Time for’ shows as it’s a good mix of food and history. A family travels through the years learning what it was like owning a corner shop in different decades. You can catch upon BBC iPlayer.
Cupcake Jemma is the person who inspired me to open my own cake business. She is the owner of Crumbs and Doilies in London and she shares loads of recipes on her YouTube channel. I don’t even make most of the recipes as they’re not vegan but I love watching them.
I’m a bit obsessed With these videos. You know how you can go to watch one video and then an hour later be like oh where did the time go? This is one of those. Buzzfeed staff from different cultures and countries swap their favourite foods with each other. I love seeing what people around the world eat (when I go abroad I always check out what snacks they have there) but I also like seeing peoples reaction to English food.
Kids try Australian food, Kids try theirs grandmas favourite food, Kids try astronaut food. You can imagine how funny this can be. This playlist has 277 videos so it can keep you entertained for a very long time!
