The Vegan Kind Subscription Box April
It’s that time again where I round up all the products I got in my Vegan Kind Subscription Box! I actually thought it had got lost in the post this time because it was pretty late arriving and I’d seen loads of other people on Twitter had already got theirs (which provided me with some spoilers).
I’d just about given up hope when I got home from work to a missed parcel note which was my box. So here’s what was in Aprils box –
P.S. I asked Billy to take the photos for me so please enjoy this months products as modelled by my two cats…
I was so excited to see these in the box because I’ve wanted to try them before but I think only a few flavours were vegan (and they didn’t appeal to me). Now they’re relaunched their products without the beef gelatine (who wants cow in sweets anyway?) Watermelon sweets are one of my favs too so I’d have gone for this flavour if I was given a choice.
I love cashews and I love caramel so what could go wrong? I tried this on some toast and it was good but really I think I need the whole jar on toast to really get the most from it! It reminds me a bit of coconut jam but with a less intense flavour and sweeter.
I love flapjacks so much. Before I went vegan I used to get those big chocolate covered one from Home Bargains for about 25p. Now I make vegan flapjacks myself and sell them on my market stall and they go down really well. I can’t wait to try this one because it’s MASSIVE! Ginger wouldn’t be my first choice of flavour but we’ll see.
This one must smell good if the cats reactions are anything to go by! This is quite a hard bar. By that I mean fruity bars are sometimes squishy but this feels more dense. It will definitely hit the spot when hunger calls… that is if I can get the bar back from Minnie who promptly claimed it.
I was saying the other day how much I wanted a metal straw and then tis turns up in my subscription box. I already have a bamboo toothbrush, much to the amusement of my friends and family, so this is clearly the next step for me.
By now you’ll know that I’m a snacker. I have snacks wherever I go just incase I get peckish. These Pretzel bites are perfect to take to work for a short break or for a car journey.
Again, these are going to be great for snacks. I mean, I snack A LOT. Can’t wait to try these because I love coconut! I feel like we grow up nowadays with a packet of crisps as our go to snacks and they’re not very exciting or filling I find so it’s nice to have things like this as an alternative.
