Vegan and Gluten Free Cakes at Nantwich Food Festival
Around this time last year I started to think about going vegan. I always go to Nantwich Food Festival ever since I moved here and I was excited to pick up some vegan goodies (veganism is on the rise so I just took it for granted that there would be something suitable for vegans). Alas, all I could find was a pancake and some plain biscuits. Me being me I made the bold statement that I could totally have my own stall with vegan cakes in 2018. I hadn’t even sold my cakes at a market at this point and I think I had only properly sold one cake so I didn’t really think it was going to happen. Now the food fest is in less than two weeks and I’m pleased to say that I will be selling my vegan and gluten free cakes at Nantwich Food Festival!
The food festival runs from the 31st August to 2nd September in Nantwich town centre and is free to enter. I have a few blog posts about past food festivals so if you’d like to know a little more about what to expect you can check them out here. I will be in the Mornflake marquee behind St. Mary’s church and as well as cakes I will also have vegan flapjack bags in lots of flavours and there will be lots of other stalls with a variety of products – it’s so much fun to wander round and see what’s available. For opening times, parking information and events go to Nantwich Food Festival’s website. I am so excited and I hope to see you for Vegan and Gluten Free Cakes at Nantwich Food Festival!
Also don’t forget to vote for Sweet Pea’s as best newcomer in Nantwich Food Festival’s Awards!
