Pumpkin spice is a spice blend used in many popular recipes such as drinks and baking. Despite the name, the spice blend ‘pumpkin spice’ does not contain pumpkin.
What Is In Pumpkin Spice?
The ingredients in pumpkin spice can vary slightly depending on whose recipe you use. My recipe uses cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves and allspice. Some recipes may have extras or omit an ingredient and may have different quantities according to personal taste.
