What’s In My Blog Awards Goodie Bag?
I thought I’d do a little post about what was in the goodie bag I picked up for the blog awards. Some of the stuff I’ve found really useful!
My absolute favourite so far is my ‘Stick to Stigu Planner’. If you know me you’ll know that I love to be organised. I’ve basically got a list for everything (I love my app ‘Wunderlist’ on my phone) so this planner has really come in handy.
It’s got a small 2016 calendar in the front and a 2017 one in the back. The middle has a day by day calendar on the right with space to write notes on the left. It’s also got a little folder at the back and more blank pages. I love it because I can write everything down in one place rather than have lists here and dates there. I think the only thing that’s bad about it is that it’s a bit big to carry around with me. If you work in an office or are at school or uni it would be great though!
I LOVE the Divine chocolates too. I haven’t tried any yet because I’ve been scoffing tiffin bars I made this week but I can’t wait to try the coconut crunch, the passion fruit and the raspberry caramel creams!
There was also some lypsyl which is always handy and some Sugru fix that thing glue stuff which is like a mouldable glue and I’m sure it will get used when we’re moving house this July!
Now the popcorn wasn’t actually in the goodie bag but all of the stuff in the photo above was from ODEON. We loved the Kilner jar which will look great in our new house too! Inside the jar was some bubbles and a little pot of teal glitter which is actually my favourite colour! I’m not sure what I’m going to do with it just yet.
The little orange box has Smith and Sinclair spiced rum and berry daiquiri pastilles in. I can’t wait to try these posh little sweets! They’ve really got alcohol in so you must be over 18 to buy them. I hope they’re not too strong as I don’t really drink so it might be a bit of a shock to the system!
The Creative Nature Superfoods raw cacao flapjack was great and there’s loads of different flavours on their website. I wasn’t sure about the fennel seed flavour snacks but I actually found myself going back for more! They are made by Crosta & Mollica and are rings of dough that are boiled and them fried to make them crispy.
I read the magazine from Roast, who were my category judges, on the train home from London. It was really interesting to read about the history of the restaurant and Borough Market. There were some very yummy looking recipes in there too. We were going to go to Borough Market because I’ve not been before but we didn’t have time. After reading all about it, it will definitely be on the to-do list next time we visit London!
