Which Ready Made Frostings Are Vegan?
Some ready made frostings are vegan. Frostings that you can buy pre-made are sometimes accidentally vegan because they do not contain dairy or other animal products. Brands including Betty Crocker and Supermarket own brands sometimes have accidentally vegan frostings.

Betty Crocker
Betty Crocker is widely available in the UK and has some accidentally vegan frostings including vanilla and chocolate. Make sure to check the ingredients at the time of purchase as ingredients can change.
Supermarket Own Brands
Supermarkets like Morrisons and Sainsbury’s have their own brand of baking products which include accidentally vegan frostings like chocolate flavour. Home Bargains also has a baking brand called Jane Asher which has some vegan frosting. This is especially good because they have seasonal varieties like Halloween colours. Check the ingredients when you buy them as sometimes recipes change.
Where to Buy Ready Made Frostings
You can find pre made frostings and icing in many shops including the baking sections of supermarkets like Morrisons and Sainsbury’s and even in shops like Home Bargains. You can also find them in specialty shops like Hobbycraft or online in specialty cake and baking shops.
